How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication for Stringent Account Security

In this internet-driven era, each individual feels the whole world is on their fingertip because you can perform many crucial tasks right from your comfort zone. Unfortunately, there’s a dark side as well, which could result in mammoth financial loss, put your brand image in jeopardy, and so on. Yes, it’s a double-edged sword!

To prevent data breaches, we offer a two-factor authentication option to all users. It adds an extra layer of security and ensures stringent account security.

Steps to enable 2FA

Login to your Automizely account > Go to the ‘My account’ option

Tap on ‘Security’ > click on the ‘Enable two-factor authentication’ option

You will have to enter your password in the given field to proceed further

Make sure you have the ‘Google Authenticator’ app installed on your Smartphone. Click on the (+) button placed in the bottom right corner and then tap on the ‘Scan a QR code’

Note: you can enable the 2FA by using any other authentication app.

Now scan the given QR code and then enter the authentication code

Tap on the ‘Enable’ button to finish the process.

Important information to take into account:

If you had it disabled earlier and are now trying to enable it with the same authenticator app that you used the last time, make sure you scan the QR code again because the verification codes from the previous one won't work anymore.

The reason being is you get a new QR code every time when you try to enable 2FA. Of course, this has been done deliberately to ensure a stringent security 🤟

In case you’re facing while enabling the 2FA, discuss it with our support team right away 👍
