Automizely Marketing lets merchants send emails and SMSes to share updates with their customers. However, you must get a verified number to do SMS marketing. This guide will help you obtain it.

➡️ Steps to get a verified number for SMS marketing

Log in to your Automizely Marketing account > Go to Settings and select SMS

Click Set up SMS and complete 3 easy steps


Step 1: Choose the countries

Select the country you’d like to send SMSes to, and we’ll assign a phone number to your account according to your selection.


Here’s what you need to keep in mind:

We will generate a toll-free number if you select the United States
We will generate a 10DLC number for them if the non-US (we only support CA, AU, and UK) is your selection
If you want to send SMS to both US and non-US (we only support CA, AU, and UK) customers, we will generate both a 10DLC number and a toll-free number for you

Step 2: Provide info for verification

If you’ve completed the SMS setup process without verification, go to Settings > select SMS to verify your generated toll-free number.
You need to enter general info for the verification process. Please note that verification process can take up to 4 weeks.


Unless the verification is done, your messaging limit will be:

Daily limit: 2,000 messages
Weekly limit: 12,000 messages
Monthly limit: 25,000 messages

Important info: SMSes won’t be triggered to your US customers or non-US customers if your toll-free number or 10DLC number is not activated.

Step 3: Complete TCPA/GDPR compliance
