Marketing emails are sent with the objective of promoting products, but the factor that results in disappointment is poor email open rate.
With Automizely Marketing, you can send follow-up emails and ensure your efforts into creating newsletters never go in vain.
👨💻 Steps to schedule a follow-up email
Note that you will be able to schedule follow-up emails only for those newsletter campaigns that you've created in the last 15 days. It will have the same content as your first email, however, you will be able to modify the subject line for the sake of better open rate.
Go to ‘Newsletters’ and select the one for which you want to schedule a follow-up email
Under the ‘Settings’ tab, you’ll see a ‘Follow-up email’ section > Click on ‘Enabled’ and then decide when you want the follow-up email to be sent along with the subject line
Keep one thing in mind that you will have to wait at least 2 days to be able to send the follow-up email. Also, the follow-up email option will remain active for 15 days from the day you've sent your first email. After that, it won't be possible for you to use it.
Now, recipients will receive the follow-up based on your settings, and there’s a high possibility that your overall email open rate starts improving 🤟
🤔 Can I trigger a follow-up email for other events as well?
For the time being, a follow-up email can be triggered for only one condition: Inform those recipients who did overlook your newsletter the first time. However, if you want to send an email for other events as well, run a separate campaign by using our new filter 😉
Under the ‘Settings’ tab, there’s a ‘Send to’ section having ‘Filters’ option > Click on it
Tap on the ‘Add filter’ button and choose ‘Emails’ from the dropdown menu
Choose the event for which you want to send a follow-up email
Once done, hit the ‘Save’ button to save your filter
Now, tap on the ‘Send’ button to start delivering your emails in the correct inboxes
