Automizely Marketing supports email analytics to let merchants check how many emails they have sent along with their performance like open rate, click rate, generated revenue, and much more. Check this help guide to easily understand email analytics data.

➡️ Steps to use Automizely Marketing's email analytics

Go to the ‘Analytics’ section of your Automizely Marketing account and choose Emails

You’ll see data based on the default settings, so set the date range and choose the email type to obtain the desired results

Let’s understand Automizely Marketing analytics for emails:

Date range: Set the period for which you want to check the email data. Available options are ‘Today, Yesterday,’ ‘Last 7 days,’ ‘Last 30 days,’ ‘Last 60 days,’ ‘Last 90 days,’ and ‘Last 120 days’

Type: Choose the email campaign type for which you want to see the data. Available options are All, Newsletters, Welcome emails, Abandoned carts, Order follow-up, Birthday emails, Price drop, and Back in stock

If you have enabled the Flows feature, you will see these options when selecting the type: All, Newsletters, and Flows

Once you set the date range and email campaign type, you’ll be able to see performance metrics like this:

Here’s what each team means:

Sent: It tells the number of emails you’ve sent so far

Delivery rate: It tells you how much your emails are likely to be delivered to recipients. To calculate the delivery rate, the total number of delivered emails is divided by the total number of sent emails

Delivered: It shows how many emails have been delivered successfully to recipients

Open rate: It tells you the percentage of subscribers who have opened your email. To calculate the open rate, the total number of contacts (recipients who opened your email) is divided by the total number of delivered emails

Opened: It tells you about the exact number of contacts (recipients) who opened your email

Click rate: It tells you the percentage of getting clicks from recipients. To calculate the click rate, the total number of unique contacts (recipients who clicked a hyperlink, CTA button, image, etc.) is divided by the total number of delivered emails

Clicked: It informs you about the number of contacts who clicked a hyperlink, CTA button, image, etc. while checking out the email content

Conversion rate: It shows the percentage of contacts who placed an order after receiving your email. To calculate the conversion rate, the total number of orders (placed through your email) is divided by the total number of delivered emails

Purchases: It tells you the exact number of orders placed via your email

The purchase data will be calculated for all the emails delivered after 3rd Jan 2022.
Calculation rules:

After opening the email, the contact must place an order within 7 days. Otherwise, the purchase data won’t be calculated

The email address with which the order is placed should be the same as the contact email address to whom the email was sent

Revenue: It tells you how much revenue you’ve generated with the help of your emails. Please note that it doesn’t include shipping charges and taxes

Besides these performance metrics, you can have a bird's-eye view of email performance over time. Here’s how it looks:
