Overview



AfterShip Email streamlines email marketing by offering enticing templates and a scheduling feature. It provides clear insights into the status of each email, offering complete transparency. In total, there are 6 distinct email statuses that you’ll encounter while using AfterShip Email.

Draft: It means your email is saved as a draft and needs to be sent or scheduled if it’s ready.
Processing: This status shows up till the time we review your email. Generally, it takes around 10 to 30 minutes.

Note: If you’re sending emails to a myriad of customers, the processing time may increase in such a situation.

Scheduled: It signifies that your email has been approved and will be sent as per your scheduled time.
Sent: It indicates that your emails have been sent successfully as per your settings.
Rejected: You’ll see this status due to two reasons:

i) When you have manually canceled your scheduled emails
ii) When our algorithms identify any sort of suspicious email activity, they simply reject the emails to keep the spam rate down. In some cases, your account can be suspended owing to a violation of our policies.

Suspended: This status appears when the email bounce rate is higher than 4% or the spam rate is higher than 1%. To avoid high bounce rate, please clean your contact list regularly and do not use a purchased email list.

- If your email is suspended, you can duplicate it and try again.
- You could separate your customers by some filters or segments and send emails separately, which will help you send emails to loyal customers successfully at least.
