How to Use AfterShip Email Filters to Access the Required Contact Information

Finding the required information from the pool of data seems like an uphill task if you don’t know how to set certain criteria by using filters.

AfterShip Email comes with easy-to-use filters so that its users can easily access the required contact information when needed.

Let’s understand the meaning of each filter:

Match all: If you have set the radio button to ‘Match all’, you will see results when all the conditions are met. It helps you get your hands on precise results. Another option you can choose is ‘Match any’ for getting results when any one of your set conditions is met

Contact status: You can set this filter based on contact status. Available statuses are ‘Subscribed,’ ‘Unsubscribed,’ ‘Not set,’ and ‘Bounced’

Abandoned checkout: With the help of this filter, you can easily identify those contacts who haven’t placed the order after adding items to the cart

Popup & form campaigns: This helps you identify how many subscribers you have got from your popup and form campaigns. Just select your campaign to know how many subscribers it has managed to get

Contact creation date: It helps you find old or new contacts with the utmost ease. To see the information of your contacts, just mention the date and choose any of the options — ‘Before and on’ and ‘After and on’ — to see the results

Country or region: If you want to check the information of those contacts that belong to a specific country or region, this filter can help you

Email address: It lets you search contacts based on their email address

Phone number: It lets you search contacts based on their phone number

Tags: It lets you search contacts according to your saved tags. Choose ‘Is all’ if you want to learn about contacts having all the tags mentioned by you. Otherwise, you can select ‘Is any’

Shopify tags: It works in the same manner as the above filter does. The only difference is you will get results based on Shopify tags

Date of birth: This filter comes in handy when you want to search about those contacts that have the same date of birth

Total orders: If you want to know about contacts based on a certain number of orders and time period, you can use this filter

First order date: If you want to check how many first orders you’ve got before/after a specific date, this filter is for you. It will show you the number of contacts who have placed their first order before/after your mentioned date

Last order date: If you want to learn about those contacts that haven’t placed an order before/after a specific date, this filter is for you

Total spent (in last 30d): It lets you check how much money your contacts have spent so far. Simply put, this filter helps you identify your most valuable customers. Just set this filter as per your preferences, and you will get accurate results in no time

Avg. order value: In case you want to check how much money your contacts have spent on average, make use of this filter. Set the conditions properly to see precise results

Total orders with coupon: It enables you to identify those contacts that have placed orders by using a coupon. Just choose the correct option from the menu and enter a value to see preferred results

Purchased products: Select products to check how many contacts have bought them till now

Contact property While setting up popup or form campaign, you use predefined contact properties like phone number, DOB, etc. or create new ones. And shoppers has to select any of the mentioned contact properties in order to subscribe successfully. Well, this filter helps you identify those contacts that have selected the same property while subscribing

Email campaigns: It allows you to filter contacts based on different email statuses. Available options are: ‘Number of email campaigns sent,’ ‘Does not sent,’ ‘Number of opens,’ ‘Does not open,’ ‘Number of clicks,’ and ‘Does not clicked’

Cart value: By using this filter, you can filter contacts as per your defined cart value

Number of cart items: It helps you filter contacts based on the number of items they currently have in their cart. Select the correct option from the menu and define the number of cart items to use this filter

Products in cart: If you want to know about some particular products that contacts have added in their cart, this filter will be of great help

Products viewed: In case you want to know which products have been checked within a specific time period, use this filter and mention the products along with the time frame
